This page explains what cookies are, how KLYPPY LAB STUDIO (“we”, “us”, “our”) uses them on klyppylab.studio, and how you can control them. We want you to enjoy our content while staying in control of your data.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device (computer, tablet or phone) when you visit. They are widely used to make websites work, to remember your preferences, and to give site owners information about how their pages are used.
Some cookies are set by us. Others are set by third parties, such as the platforms that host the videos and social posts we embed on the site (for example TikTok, YouTube, Instagram and Facebook).
2. How we use cookies
We use cookies to keep the site running smoothly and securely, to remember your preferences, to understand which of our content is popular, and to let you view and share media from our channels. We do not use cookies to collect more information than we need, and we never sell your personal data.
3. Types of cookies we use
The cookies on our site fall into the following categories:
| Category | What it does |
|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Required for the site to work — page loading, security, and remembering your cookie choices. These cannot be switched off. |
| Performance & analytics | Help us count visits and see which pages and videos are popular, so we can make the site better. All data is aggregated and anonymous. |
| Functionality | Remember choices you make (such as region or preferences) to give you a smoother experience. |
| Social & embedded media | Set by third parties when we embed content from our TikTok, YouTube, Instagram and Facebook channels, or when you share a page. |

5. Third-party cookies
Because we showcase short-form content from our own channels, some pages embed media from external platforms. When you view or interact with that content, those platforms may set their own cookies, which are governed by their own privacy and cookie policies:
- TikTok — embedded clips from our @klyppylabstudio account.
- YouTube (Google) — embedded channel videos.
- Instagram & Facebook (Meta) — embedded posts and share buttons.
- Discord — if you follow a link to our community at discord.gg/BrHfpEwzcE.
We don’t control cookies set by these third parties. We recommend reviewing their policies to understand how they use your information.
6. Managing your cookie preferences
When you first visit the site, our cookie banner lets you accept or reject non-essential cookies. Strictly necessary cookies are always on because the site can’t function without them. You can change your choice at any time by:
- Clicking the “Cookie settings” link in the site footer to reopen the preferences panel.
- Adjusting the controls in your web browser (see below).
Your cookie settings
Set your preferences right here — changes take effect immediately and are remembered for future visits:
Controlling cookies in your browser
Most browsers let you view, block and delete cookies. Blocking all cookies may stop parts of this or other websites from working properly. Instructions for the main browsers:
- Google Chrome — Settings › Privacy and security › Cookies and other site data.
- Safari — Settings › Privacy › Manage Website Data.
- Microsoft Edge — Settings › Cookies and site permissions.
- Mozilla Firefox — Settings › Privacy & Security › Cookies and Site Data.
To opt out of Google Analytics across all websites, you can install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
7. Do Not Track
Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” (DNT) setting. There is no agreed industry standard for responding to DNT signals, so our site currently treats your choices in the cookie banner as the definitive record of your preferences.
8. Your rights
As a UK-based studio, we handle personal data in line with the UK GDPR and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR). You have the right to access, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you, and to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this page from time to time to reflect changes in the cookies we use or in the law. When we do, we’ll revise the “Last updated” date at the top. Please check back occasionally to stay informed.
